about

Originally written for the CADA Aisinikiiks dinner talks and brought into this album as it needed to be released and fit in as a great epilogue to the narrative concept of the album. That's why this is the only track on the album that was written on guitar rather than the invented instruments.

lyrics

I long for the wind through my hair
And the sun beating down on my back,
To the edges of the mountains I ride,
The rivers are my fountains, I glide.

Chorus
Where have the warriors gone?
Time for freedom.
Beat of the buffalo song
Beat of the buffalo song

Fishing bear in a creek
Above the hawk dances high
Gripping the horses mane
From the rolling hills through the golden plain.

Rolling through the pine,
The moons victorious shine.
The sky reaches for miles,
The lone wolf, he smiles.
